Empowering Potent Parent Workshop
INTERNET DANGER:
HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW YOUR COMPUTER?
“The Dark Side of the
Internet That May Be Affecting You and Your Children,” is a presentation by the
Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that will provide parents with
a better understanding of the dangers on the Internet and also provide tips to
keep children and families safe. The presentation will provide an overview of
the problem areas, warning signs to look for and how to react if you find your
child has been victimized on the Internet.
In addition, a FBI
task force representative will discuss the ever-growing problem of human
trafficking and hate crimes in Ohio schools.
And finally School
Resource Officer Keith Collins will provide invaluable information about
interacting with the police and today’s safety climate in schools.
This must attend
educational event is hosted by the Bedford High School PTA, on Saturday, March 1, starting promptly at
9:30 am until NOON, at the Southeast Branch Library, 70 Columbus Road, in
Bedford, Ohio.

Reflections Program
SCHOOL CLOSED TODAY CANCELED DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS!
The BHS PTSA Reflections Recognition Program is Tuesday, February 18, 2014, from 6:30 to 7:15 pm, in the Bedford High School Cafeteria. It is open to anyone who would like to view and celebrate the wonderful work of our Bedford High School students.
