ANNUAL NATIONAL PTA CONVENTION PRESS CLIPS: SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 2013



President-elect Matlock attended along with her daughter (Myiah) who won a scholarship to the NPTA Youth Summit. Secretary-elect Robinson attended, as well.

Matlock expressed excitement in attending NPTA Convention. "I had a very nice time at the conference this weekend.  It was very informative and I am ready and energized on starting 2013 school year.  My daughter is very excited also in regards to information received on bullying in school.  She is ready to get the information out to school members and officials. I am very happy that we attended!"

Robinson expressed similar sentiments, "I added to my knowledge base and look forward to sharing it with our local unit."
